

Louis was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 31, 1930, to Liborio (Percy) & Theresa Ann Risolio. He started working for his parent’s vegetable stand at about 6yrs old delivering grocery and continued working until he entered the USAF. He attended St Rose of Lima School of Brooklyn, NY graduating the eighth grade on June 23, 1946 and at 17 he entered the USAF. Louis was married to Joann Robinson in August 1959, they were married for 4 years before being divorced, though he always remained a faithful father to his children he loved dearly, he remarried Joann in 2006 until her passing in 2010.
Louis served in the USAF during the Korean War behind enemy lines taking ROK troops in to pick up the wounded, 1950-1952 Korea and 1953-1955 in Japan with the 22nd Crash Rescue Boat Squadron, and other missions following. After returning he took extension courses with AIR UNIVERSITY USAF acquiring degrees in Aircraft Mechanic Basic, Electronic Fundamentals, & Management for AF Supervisors. Then from 1959 – 1968 he served as a Jet Engine Mechanic on USAF F 102, F 100, F 105 & F 106 planes. Louis served the USAF for 20 years receiving an Honorable Discharged. He also, received a diploma in Applied Computer Programming Services from the Institute of Computer Management, his skill and knowledge in computers and electronics never ended. He was an avid racket ball player, flying remote planes he built, loved martial arts, was good at carpentry, and working on cars. But the pulse of his heart was serving at his church, St Elizabeth’s of Hungary Catholic Parish, having been a parishioner for 40+yrs. During the past 25 yrs he opened and set up for the morning mass an wherever needed, he would take communion to the Dallas Retirement Home, as well as, serving in multiple ministries. He was awarded the Bishop’s Award in 2017 for serving the Church from The Catholic Diocese of Dallas, by Bishop Greg Kelly.
Louis is preceded in death by his wife Joann, father Liborio, mother Theresa, sister Regina, brother-in-law Wayne Robinson, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Louis is survived by daughter Ninalou Risolio, son Louis Risolio II his wife Teresa grandsons Louis III, Gabriel & Caleb, brother Peter Risolio his wife Janet, niece Theresa and nephews Anthony & Tommy Risolio, Joseph, Miles & Jared Robinson, sister-in law Betty Robinson and in-laws the Trevino Family.
Visitation 9-10am and Mass 10-11am of Christian burial will be held at St Elizabeth’s of Hungary Catholic Parish on August 3rd, 2024 at 4015 South Hampton Rd Dallas, Tx 75224 with Pastor: Very Rev. Emmett Hall. V.F. officiating. Committal will immediately follow at Calvary Hill Funeral Home 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas 75220 at 11:30 am.
