Louise Barger

Louise gave generously of her time, and she enjoyed teaching Sunday School to 4 & 5 year-olds, working in the church library, and also as a volunteer at Doctor’s Hospital in Dallas. She retired from Collins Radio.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Cecil R. Barger; her parents, Carl and Rachel Willman; 1 infant great-grandson; 2 sisters; 2 brothers; 1 nephew and 1 niece.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Ashley and husband John; grandchildren, Jo Lynn Clements and husband Ron, Sherry Ashley, Karen Douglas and husband John, and Jason Ashley; great-grandchildren, Richard White, Jason, Jr. and Brendan Ashley, and Carolyn, Jessica, Luke, and Emily Douglas; and great-great-granddaughter, Alexis Cunningham; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 2:00 P.M., with Visitation from 12 – 2pm, at Grove Hill Funeral Home, and will be followed by Interment at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
