Louise W Sellers

Louise Woerner Sellers, 102, passed away on January 19, 2015. Born July 24,1912, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, John Dunbar Sellers and her son, Frank Steven Sellers. She is survived by her daughter, Cecilia Schuster (husband Bill), daughter-in-law Anne Sellers, eight grandchildren and their spouses and fifteen great-grandchildren. A Dallas native and graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Louise bought the J. Hugh Campbell Co. and founded the Flag Store, which she operated with her son until her retirement. She was active in many service organizations over the years. She was a remarkable woman who loved people, parties and travel and excelled in all her endeavors. Her life has had a profound impact on many and she will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank her caregivers Lillie, Matti, Ana, Mary and Larissa for helping her to fully enjoy her final months. The family will greet friends from 4 – 6 p.m. Sunday January 25, 2015 at Sparkman/Hillcrest. The Funeral Mass will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Rev. Msgr. Robert M. Coerver, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery.
