Lucia L. Cantu

Luci “Luci” Cantu, 86, of Plano, Texas, passed away on January 18, 2026.

Luci was born in Rosebud, Texas on December 15, 1939, to Jose Adame and Rosa Garcia.

Luci worked as an Accounting Associate. She began her career with E-Systems and continued there until 1995, when Raytheon acquired the facility. She found her professional home at Raytheon, and together her years with E-Systems and Raytheon totaled 28 years of dedicated service before her retirement. She enjoyed shopping and going to the casino in her free time. She was also actively involved in St. Gabriel the Archangel catholic church and the CHRP women’s group there.

Luci is preceded in death by her sister Delia Carvajal and her brothers Fernando Adame, George Adame, and Arthur Adame.

Luci is survived by her husband Doug and children, Patricia Cantu and Michele Ranzer, her grandchildren, Michael Andre, Emily-Ann, Jaclyn, Reagan, Reese, Riley, Ryan, and Ryder, as well as her siblings Mary Adame, Rudy, Edward, Luis, John and other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the mausoleum chapel of Sacred Heart Cemetery, 3900 Rowlett Rd, Rowlett, TX 75088 at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 2, 2026 followed by the committal at 11:00 AM.
