His immediate family moved to Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico when he was only an Infant. At a very young age, Luciano Sr. was the first in his immediate family to accept Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He dedicated his life in introducing Jesus Chris to his family members and friends. Luciano Sr. often served in many church capacities. He loved playing his guitar in church and worshiping the Lord.
Luciano meet his wife Jovita De La Fuente in Matamoros. They were married for 65 years. They had 6 children, Elizabeth Rollins (deceased), Eliseo Rodriguez, Emma Venable, Linda Perez, Helen Johns and Luciano Jr. He had 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. He loved and cared for his wife, children, and all his grandchildren deeply he was often found lifting his family and friends in prayer and reading his bible.
Luciano was a small business owner, he was very well liked and admired by other business owners and customers in Dallas and surrounding cities. His business thrived in the Oak Cliff area because of his overflowing generosity to help others in need.
Luciano was a hardworking man who loved to work. It was more than a satisfying hobby to him; it was a way to provide for his family. Most of his life, he often worked two jobs, always keeping busy. He loved to laugh and spend time with his family and had a great sense of humor.
If Luciano were here today, he would say “Los quiero mucho y no dejen de seguir a Dios.” Hallelujah! Amen.
A visitation for Luciano will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L., Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232. A celebration of life will occur Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 6300 South R.L., Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232. A committal service will occur Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 3:15 PM to 3:30 PM at Laurel Land Mem Park - Dallas, 6300 S. R.L. Thornton Frwy., Dallas, TX 75232.
