

Lucille James, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully having lived a full and productive life of 101 years. After graduating from Dallas School of Business in 1927 Lucille became a buyer, later in manufacturing fashion shown at the Apparel Mart. She was past President of Dallas Literary Society, active volunteer with cancer foundation, Baylor Auxiliary, church activities, garden & book clubs, gracious hostess, and world traveler. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, and her precious husband, Frank James. She is survived by her daughter, Marsha Sharp of Wichita Falls; grand-daughter, Marla Sharp, Tulsa; grandson, Doug Sharp and wife Margie of Arlington; and great-grandchild, Sarahbeth Sharp, Houston. Pallbearers will be Doug Sharp, nephew Ed James, Fred Aurbach, Wilson Aurbach, Roy Zuck, and Tom Nieman. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, April 26, 2011, and a Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 27, 2011, both at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home, 10501 Garland Rd. in Dallas. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, 9220 Restland Rd. in Dallas. Pastor Ken Wimer of Shreveport Grace Church, Shreveport, LA and friend Don Kanaley of Dallas to officiate.
