Luis Carlos Guevara Jr.

Our precious little angel, Luis Carlos Guevara Jr. left this world on July 19, 2019 unexpectedly. Jr was born January 10, 2004 to Ileana Garcia and Luis Guevara. Despite his short time on earth, he was deeply loved and brought immense joy to those around him. Luis Jr. will forever be remembered and loved by his parents, Ileana and Luis, his siblings; Andrew, Isaac, Isiah, Samantha and Katey; his grandparents; Elena and Pablo Garcia and Ana Guevara and Rigoberto Martinez, his loving aunts and uncles, lots of cousins and many, many friends.

Jr. loved to play and watch basketball, soccer, baseball and football. He was the oldest of 6 and enjoyed spending time with family, laughing and joking. Jr. was a great brother who looked out for all of his siblings. He taught us all so much. Luis Jr. was a smart, handsome, funny, sweet boy. Anyone who knew him, loved him. Luis was a loving and caring person who was just beginning to live.

In an effort to bring awareness to all the children who have been victims of a crime. We’d like to share this information. Luis, at the very young age of 15 was killed. He was taken from his family in an evil senseless act of violence. He did not deserve this! No child does! We sit here today with a paralyzing pain so intense that if makes the simple act of breathing difficult. We keep asking ourselves, what we could have done differently. Our hearts are beyond broken.

Luis Jr. will be greatly missed by every single person who knew and adored him.
