Luis Garza Torrez

Luis proudly served his country by enlisting and serving two years in the US Army. Luis was a self employed carpenter for more than sixty years.

In his spare time, Luis enjoyed watching football and old movies. he read the newspaper to learn English. He worked on cars and drank beer to celebrate every moment. his family and friends will always remember him as a joker, funny person and "The Life of the Party"

Luis is preceded in death by his Wife, Janie Torrez. He is survived by his Daughters, Sylvia Torrez, Lisa Barbosa; Sons, Luis Torrez Jr., Lee Torrez & Matthew Torrez; Grandchildren, Celeste Torrez, Cerena Torrez, Timothy Cantú Jr, Christian Cantú, Emily Cantú, Fabian Torrez, Sophia Torrez & Gigi Barbosa.

Luis was a "Jack of All Trades - Master of None." His favorite saying was " If a man made it - A Man can Fix it." His toast to celebrate occasions " Here is to you & Here is to me, I hope we shall never disagree, If we shall disagree - Forget You - This is for me!"

We love you, Papo, you will be missed by many people but your memories will forever be remembered . We love you forever and always.
