Lynne Penny Weinberg

With profound love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing of Lynne Penny Weinberg, who entered into eternal rest on July 28, 2026, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, following a recent illness. She was 83 years old.

Penny was born on May 28, 1943, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Jerome and Burnise Klamon. From an early age, she embodied kindness, grace, and quiet strength qualities that remained the foundation of her life and touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

On January 19, 1964, Penny married the love of her life, Dr. Warren Weinberg, in St. Louis. Their marriage was a remarkable testament to enduring love, unwavering partnership, and deep devotion. Together they built a beautiful family, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, compassion, and treasured traditions that will continue for generations.

Above all else, Penny's greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving and selfless mother, a cherished sister, a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, and a loyal friend. Her gentle spirit, generous heart, and steadfast love provided comfort and encouragement to those around her. She possessed a rare ability to make others feel seen, valued, and deeply loved, leaving an enduring impression on countless lives.

Penny was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. Warren Weinberg.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Amy Weinberg of Boulder, Colorado, and Ellen Weinberg- Hughes and Son in-law, Jim Hughes of Michigan; her son, Adam Weinberg and Daughter in-law, Anne Weinberg of Granville, Ohio; her sisters, Susan Frydrych and Kathy Grayboys; her brother, Joe Klamon; six beloved grandchildren; one treasured great-grandchild; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Though her presence will be profoundly missed, the love Penny shared, the wisdom she quietly imparted, and the example she set through a life of compassion and grace will remain an enduring gift to all who knew her. She lived with purpose, loved without reservation, and leaves behind a legacy measured not only by the years she lived, but by the countless lives she enriched.

To have known Penny was to experience genuine kindness and unconditional love. Her life was one of quiet significance, and her memory will continue to inspire those who were blessed to call her family and friend.
