Mabyl T. Miller

Mabyl Taylor Miller was born February 29, 1920, in Wood County, TX, to Robert Luther and Josephine Taylor. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Delmer Miller, her parents, sisters, Lois Novell Reed of Amarillo, TX, Lynn Treadaway of Dallas, TX, brother Robert Taylor, Jr. She was survived by one sister, Joan Greenwald of Dallas, TX, and one daughter, Margo Carstarphen of Hurst, TX, numerous nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.

Mabyl was a member of Park Cities Baptist Church of Dallas. She was loved for her sweet disposition, her devotion to her family and to any job she did. After graduating from public school in Quanah, TX, she attended Draughans Business College in Lubbock, TX. She moved to Fort Worth, TX in 1945 and began working for the Brachman family businesses from 1946-1987, after which she retired. In 1948 she met Delmer Miller and they were married July 29, 1950.

Funeral Services will be held at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Hwy Chapel, 7405 W. Northwest Hwy., Dallas, TX at 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 21, 2013. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Park Cities Baptist Church, 3933 Northwest Parkway, Dallas, TX 75225 or your favorite charity.
