Somewhere around 1980, myself and two others rode our motorcycles from KC to go to the gulf. Pete and Linda took us in, fed us, and then rode with us down to the beach. They left, and then headlights shined through our tents at 3 o'clock in the morning. It was Pete and Linda back with a cooler of life sustaining liquids because he knew we didn't bring any water with us. Uncle Pete was the coolest and I'm proud to be related to him. He certainly had an influence on my life. I speak for all the Millers in Kansas and especially my Mom, Tina, in saying we will miss him, and our hearts are with you.

Our daughter,Kim, came to Illinois from California for a visit. We were in the church parking lot several blocks from Pete and Linda’s home, when Pete came riding up on his Harley. Bob introduced them and without a “hi” or “glad to meet you” Pete says “Here, wanna see my zipper?” He had just previously had open heart surgery. He was definitely one of a kind and will be missed. RIP. We will meet you in the morning

So many memories. I can't name just 1 thing about Pete. He was funny, he loved to tease me about how I say my last name and how Linda and Omer grew up saying it. He loved to tease, he loved to give wet Willie's. He is truly going to be missed.
Love you cuz

Pete was the second grand child born to our grand parents, Frank and Monnie Cowley, and I was the third. We spent a lot of time together during those early years at our grandparents farm in Oklahoma.
In recent years we kept in touch with a text or phone call and a Christmas card.
I cherish the time that we had on that farm and I will miss him.
My Sympathy to Linda, his children, grandchildren and the rest of his family. Much Love To All Of You!!!
