

Visitation will be from 9:00 am – 12 pm, December 16th at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
Manuel was born in Dallas, TX to Domingo Lopez Valdez and Rebecca Gonzales Valdez on August 8th 1942. Manuel was a veteran of the Vietnam War, and served his country proudly with honor and distinction. He worked with Auto Collision Repair Industry for most of his life after the Army, and took great pride in making his repairs look like a brand new vehicle. He loved his wife, loved his children, loved his family, had a great passion for cooking and grilling and really loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Army.
Manuel was preceded in death by his parents Domingo Lopez Valdez and Rebecca Gonzales Valdez, his son Manuel G. Valdez, his brothers David G. Valdez, Juan E. Valdez, Domingo G. Valdez and Edubigues G. Valdez, sisters, Anita G. Valdez, Angelina G. Valdez and Diana G. Valdez.
Manuel is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Valdez, his daughter Ericka Valdez, and his son Mario Valdez, brother Samuel G. Valdez, sisters Carmen F. Fitzhugh and husband Ricky Rodriguez, Ramona G. Valdez, Rebecca V. Paredes and husband Pablo F. Paredes Granddaughter Diamen Marshall and husband Garrett, and granddaughter Aniyah Valdez, and numerous nieces and nephews who love him and will miss him.
Pallbearers will be; Samuel G. Valdez (Honorarium), Mario Valdez, Steve Parades, Juan Valdez, John Paul Valdez, Garrett Marshall and Steve Cuellar.
The family would like to extend sincere thanks to Calvary Church in Irving. Baylor Scott & White Hospital and Texas Oncology Cancer Research for all of their combined care with our beloved Manuel Valdez.
