Marcelina "Marcy" Sanchez, 99, passed away October 12, 2023 in Richardson, Texas. She was born April 26, 1924 in Corsicana, Texas to Francisco Marez and Magalena Galvan. Marcelina was raised in Corsicana and moved to Dallas later in life. She married Frank Sanchez and the couple had five children.
Mrs. Sanchez was preceded in death by her husband, Frank G. Sanchez; daughter, Deborah Hernandez; and four sisters, Frances Hernandez, Cesaria Luna; Anita Gonzales, and Guadalupe Araujo.
She is survived by her five children, which currently live in Dallas, Frank Sanchez, Jr., David Sanchez, Stella Moody, Gloria Williams, and Cynthia Scott; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
