At the age of 10, Marcus suffered a traumatic brain injury. Marcus defied the odds by surviving his injuries and went on to graduate from Molina High School in 2000.
Marcus always had a positive attitude and a great smile. He was one of the strongest persons you could ever know. Marcus never let his struggles get in his way or diminish his positive attitude. Marcus was always there anytime you needed a helping hand. You could always depend on Marcus to be there without ever asking for anything in return. He gave from the heart and without expectations. When you ask his family and friends they all say the same thing that Marcus always had an infectious smile. You were always guaranteed to see him smile anytime he would be in your presence. Marcus will also be remembered for his love of Nike Air Force One’s. Marcus, we will forever miss being in your presence , seeing you smile and hearing your laugh.
On December 27 2020, Marcus was called to join his Heavenly Father and is proceeded in death by his loving mother.
Marcus leaves behind his father Felix Sr, brother Felix Jr, sister Laura Escamilla- May, nieces Sabrina, Sophia, Samantha, Serena, nephews Izais, Izaac and 2 great nephews Jayleon and Leland Rivas along with many other family members.
