

She was born on October 28, 1960 in Dallas, Texas where she spent the majority of her adult life.
Margaret was an extraordinary salesperson as well as a lover of all animals. She served as a volunteer at area animal shelters. She adopted and cared for many cats during the course of her life.
Margaret was a child at heart. While she had no children of her own, she was loved by children and she returned that love freely. No matter what obstacles she faced, she always had a positive outlook on life.
As an adoptee, she was able to connect with her biological family and enjoyed the relationship she had with them.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Hagler of Shawnee, Kan., her cats, and numerous cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Joyce (Rutherford) Alvis, and her beloved husband Bruce Atteberry.
In accordance with her wishes, services will be simple. Visitation will be held at 1:00 - 3:00 pm on Monday, Dec. 2nd at Laurel Land Funeral home in Dallas, Texas. Graveside services will follow at the Laurel Land Memorial Park.
