CORBETT. Margaret Robins Chace, died after a brief illness on May 10, 2012. She was preceded in death in 1987 by her husband, William E. Corbett, former executive of the Ford Motor Co. Mrs. Corbett was born in Texarkana. AR, the daughter of Dr. Archibald Eastwood Chace and Laura Robins on November 8, 1923. She is survived by her daughter, Laura, and two sons and daughters-in-law, William C. and Patti and Charles A. and Wendy. Also surviving are granddaughters Lindsey Corbett and Leslie and husband Curtis Dowdle, and two great-grandchildren, Chace and Audrey Dowdle. Her three sisters, Elizabeth, Ruth and Anita, have pre-deceased her. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Corbett attended Lindenwood College (now University) in St. Charles, MO, was a member of the Dallas Junior League, and has been active in the Altar Guild, the Women's Board and the Plaid Door, all at St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at St. Luke's, 5923 Royal Lane, at 1:00 pm. with Father Donald W. Spafford officiating. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 9400 N. Central Expressway, Suite 903, Dallas 75231; the American Cancer Society; St. Luke's Episcopal Church; or a charity of your choice. Private interment will be at Sparkman Hillcrest in Dallas.
