Margaret Cupaioli, 96, of Dallas, TX, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew and loved her.
She was born on November 24, 1916 in Hearthill, Scotland to the late Thomas and Agnes Kemp MacLaren. She had a professional singing career as a child and adult which included NBC radio and various roles on Broadway.
Survivors include her 2 sons; Ian Cupaioli and his wife Susie, Edward Cupaioli and his wife Charlotte; grandchildren Meg Shull and her husband Wayne, Ian Cupaioli, Margot Greer and her husband Patrick and Edward Cupaioli; great grandchildren Elizabeth Shull and Hannah Shull. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Edward Cupaioli in 1980 and a brother Matthew MacLaren in 1966.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Sparkman Hillcrest Chapel East Mausoleum at 1:00 pm with a reception to follow in the Bill Sparkman Memorial Reception Hall. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to The Salvation Army of Dallas, 8787 N.
