Margaret Hounchell, 87, of Dallas passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at her residence in Dallas, TX. She will always be remembered as a loving, mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew and loved her.
She was born in Moores Hill, Indiana on December 1, 1929 to Archie and Thelma Buchanan Stephens. She married the love of her life Joseph D. Hounchell on April 9, 1948. She graduated from Moores Hill High School and later attended business school in Louisville, KY.
Survivors include her daughter Judith Lynne Piland and her husband Paul D Piland of Carrollton, TX; granddaughter Jordan Paige Piland. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Hounchell on February 27, 2012.
A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Chapel, 7405 W. Northwest Hwy., Dallas, TX 75225. Inurnment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
