Preceding her in death was her beloved husband Ronald J. Johnston on January 8th, 2015. Also preceding her in death are her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Survivors include her daughter Tracey Jordan and her husband Matthew Jordan. Her son Philip Burke, daughter Deborah Burke, and granddaughters Amber Bryan, Ashley Rockey, Boston, Cori, Rhys, Angelina, and 9 Great grandchildren.
Margaret was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, she had a kind and sweet heart. She had a very soft sweet voice. She was a strong woman, there was nothing she wouldn't do for her family. She had a passion for and enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, reading her bible and cooking. Margaret made the best tamales and tomatillo salsa and loved to bake cakes and pies. She absolutely loved sitting in the sun. She loved Christmas and in her younger days, made her own ornaments for her Christmas tree.
To know her was to love her, and she will be greatly missed. Margaret had many names, Hon, Mommy, Mom, Gammy, Mage, Mommio and Margarita. She held each one in high esteem. She loved her grandchildren like no other and prayed for them without ceasing. Our family will never be the same without her, but we are thankful for every moment we had and love to think of her reunion with her beloved husband Ron, her parents, brothers, sisters and meeting Jesus face to face.
The Twenty Third Psalm
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul. He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies. Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
