I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. McVey at Senior Care Lake Pointe, my mother Mildred Vaughn is a resident there and they often sat at the same table at meal time. She always had a smile on her face, and was a very friendly lady. I was sad to hear of her passing. May God comfort all the family during this difficult time.

She will be missed.

Sincerely,

May the Father above hold each of you in His loving hands until the smiles take the place of tears. Your mother is fondly remembered for her vivacious smile and warmth.

This is my wish for you, comfort on difficult days. smiles when sadness intrudes. laughter to kiss your lips. rainbows to follow the clouds. sunsets to warm your heart. hugs when spirits sag. beauty for your eyes to see. friendship to brighten your being. faith so that you can believe. confidence for when you doubt. courage to know yourself. patience to accept the truth. love to complete your life.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light” (Matt 11:25+30)

Thinking of you all today. I have a lot of fond memories of Aunt Ben. Her pretty blond bun on her head, all of her elaborate jewelry she always had on. She was always well put together. She always had green Certs mints in her purse. I remember because I used to always ask for a mint when I was with her. LOL! And of course the year round Christmas tree she always had up. So many more memories but those are some of my fondest. She will be missed dearly. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. I am sorry I couldn't be there today.

Love,
Tichia
