Margaret Alvarez Rangel joined our dear Lord up in the Kingdom of Heaven, where she is now amongst her brothers and sisters. Born on April 13, 1939 in Dallas, TX, Mom passed away at home on June 11, 2011. Margaret, beloved wife of 53 wonderful years to Selvester Martinez Rangel is also survived by her six children: her daughter Isabell Osterhoudt and sons: Selvester Rangel, Philip Rangel, Robert Rangel, Johnny Rangel, and Steve Rangel. Mom is also survived by her sister, Rosa Diaz, her daughter-in-laws Linda and Sophia and her son-in-law, Mike. Mom is also survived by her twelve grandchildren that brought much happiness and joy to her heart: Sly, Natalie, Jeff, Michael, Lupe, Sara, Victoria, Hailey, Olivia, Makayla, Mariah and Leo and her three great-grandchildren: Reuven, Michael, and Jessica. Margaret was also survived by two nieces, Esther and Margaret, and nephew Pete who she loved dearly like her own children. Mom was a devoted catholic and loved her family unconditionally. Her memory will live forever in the hearts and minds of her immediate and extended family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all.
