Margaret was raised in Pleasant Grove and graduated from Samuel High School and attended North Texas University. In her spare time, Margaret enjoyed her nieces, nephews, crafting and shopping with her Mom Betty.
Her family and friends will always remember her for her vibrant personality and gift for conversation.
She is preceded in death by: Her father Jesse Vela and her brother Vincent Vela.
Survived by: Her mother Betty, two brothers Mario and Thomas Vela, several nieces and nephews along with great nieces and one great nephew.
