Margarita Leija

Margarita was raised in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She married Jose Martinez Esparza and the couple had four children.

In her spare time, Margarita enjoyed sewing, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Her family and friends will always remember her as a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend who would always lend her ears and shoulder to her loved ones who need her.

She is survived by her son, Jose Martinez; daughters, Lorena Martinez and Silvia Martinez; grandchildren, Denise Martinez, Mariana Martinez, Mathew Charles, Oscar Charles, Diana Martinez and great-grandson, Diego.

A visitation for Margarita will be held Monday, October 2, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home and Crematory, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247. An interment will occur Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Laurel Land Mem Park - Dallas, 6300 S. R.L. Thornton Frwy., Dallas, TX 75232.
