Maria De La Luz Bocanegra was born February 27, 1947 in Uruapan, Michoacan, Mexico to Serafin and Carmen (Tejeda) Herrera. She was co-founder of Arturo's Auto Trim Shop that served the Dallas Metroplex for over 25 years.
She is survived by her loving husband Artuo G. Bocanegra; Children: Arturo H. Bocanegra, Carolyn Bocanegra, Lucy B. Flores and Carmen B. Lopez; Siblings: Ruben Herrera, Serafin Herrera, Carmen Marcha, Jose L. Herrera, Rose Caraballo and Maria E. Garcia; 8 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and Godchildren.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Norma Bocanegra and sister Guadalupe H. Garcia.
