I almost had to dig through several old family albums until I found this picture of my Tia Maria. When I finally found it, a swarm of emotion swelled up inside me. I love you so much Tia, and ever since you passed away life feels emptier because you’re not physically here anymore. You held me and loved me as you did your own children. So many great memories we had together, but this one right here is the first I remember and the first one where I felt how much you and your family really cared for me. I miss you so much Tia.
