Maria V. Laureano, 102, passed away on January 24, 2013 in Dallas. She was born on April 2, 1910 in San Luis Mexico to Ambrosio and Patricia Reyes. She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter Micaela Palacios. Maria is survived by sons, Zenon, Daniel and Juan Laureano; daughters, Felicitas, Clara and Ramona Laureano, Maria C. Vigil and Roberta Tobias; daughter-in-law, Elvira Laureano and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Some of Maria's interests were caring for plants and cooking. She cooked as often as she could and for everybody. A visitation will be held Monday January 28, 2013 from 6-8 pm at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited at 7 pm. A Mass in her honor will be held Tuesday January 29, 2013 at 10 am at St. Cecilia Catholic Church 1801 W. Davis St. Dallas, TX 75208. Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
