It was a privilege to know beautiful Maria. I got to know her as we worked together on my volunteer days at MIS, and I always looked forward to seeing her smiling face. She had a gentle and kind spirit and she radiated God’s love and compassion. She was an amazing woman who will be greatly missed.

I worked with Maria at the Raider Cafe for four years and I remember my time with her as some of the best at HPMS. Maria never failed to make me feel welcome, she was patient and friendly; she took pride in her work and made sure the job done right but was never, ever unkind. So many of us could use more of Maria's kindness in our lives and I am lucky and grateful for having time with her. Maria will forever be part of the countless happy memories of our family's time spent at HPMS and our thoughts and prayers go with her family in this difficult time.
