Maria was born in Guanajuato, Mexico on December 9, 1932, to Primitivo Espinosa and Evangelina Lopez Espinosa. Maria was married to Tarcisio Olvera on February 19, 1955, a loving marriage parted by death on Earth but now hand in hand, they are rejoicing in Heaven. Eventually, Tarcisio and Maria returned to Dallas, Texas; God blessing them with many more years of matrimony while witnessing the growth of their beautiful family.

The Olvera family matriarch, a caring mother of four boys, a second mother to all her dear nieces, the most special Abuelita, and a top-tier hostess with the ability to make her house everyone’s home. Her sweet laughter, her love of life and colorful gardens, and her ability to make everyone feel safe will be missed. We understand her memory will continue to inspire us and her holy spirit will forever guide us.
