

Lulu was a bright light to everyone who knew her. She was always smiling, with a playful spirit that brought joy wherever she went.Though she was unable to speak, that did not stop her from living life fully. She expressed herself in countless ways through her animated gestures, her expressive eyes, and her unmistakable personality; always making sure you knew exactly who or what she was talking about. She was famously curious, always wanting to know what was going on, and her “nosy” nature was one of the many things that made her so endearing to family and friends.
Lulu could often be found playing cards, flipping through magazines, or sneaking her favorite snacks. She especially loved enjoying a cup of coffee and sweet bread every morning.
She was a familiar face to many in her community, and no matter where she went, someone was bound to greet her with warmth. Lulu especially treasured time spent with her beloved parents and her late grandparents, whose company she cherished throughout her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Guadalupe Peña, and her brother, Antonio Peña.
She is survived by her siblings Gilbert, Dolores, Hector, Veronica, and Maria; a host of nieces and nephews; and extended family who adored her.
Lulu will be remembered for her contagious laughter, her kind heart, and the joy she spread so effortlessly.
