Small in stature, Maria was a feisty yet strong woman who loved her family. She worked at Baylor Hospital for several years. In her spare time, Maria enjoyed cooking and gardening where roses were her favorite. She also loved to dance and sing to various genres of music.
Maria was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind two daughters, Janie and Sonya Ponce, and a host of other relatives and friends.
