Marianna Esgar

Marianna Esgar, age 59, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2023 in Denton, Texas. Marianna was born on June 7, 1964 in Dallas, Texas to Bob and Ruth Esgar. She was a fifth generation Dallasite of the William Rupert pioneer family.

The State Supported Living Center of Denton, Texas was her home and community for fifty years. This is where she lived a healthy, meaningful life supported and surrounded by many loving and caring people.

Marianna’s family and friends will remember her as being graced with a happy disposition and always generous with her gifts of smiles and hugs.

She is survived by her parents, Bob and Ruth Esgar, two brothers Robert Esgar and John Esgar (Marion), sister Barbara Ireland (Roger), three nephews Justin Esgar, Jake Esgar and Preston Ireland and one niece Penelope Ireland, Uncle Don Esgar (Joyce), Aunt Cindy Esgar, and 4 Traster cousins and 9 Esgar cousins.

Those there to greet her in new life are grandparents Herbert and Violet Esgar, Foster and Orene McClanahan, Aunt Mary Lou Traster (Gene), Uncle Bryce Esgar and Uncle Roger Esgar (Sharon).
