She was born October 4, 1936 in Amarillo, Texas, the only child of the late William and Ethel Miller. She spent her first 5 years in Wildorado Texas before moving to Dallas in 1941. A graduate of Highland Park High School, Parkland Hospital Radiology Technologist School and UT Health Science Center later receiving her Masters at East Texas State. She worked in the Parkland Memorial Hospital Radiology Department then the Nuclear Medicine department before enjoying 24 years as a devoted teacher, clinical coordinator and recruitment officer at EL Centro College's Radiological Sciences Program. A leader in numerous radiological and health organizations she was also a devout lover of animals, dogs especially.
Preceded in death by her parents and husband Ron Buckelew, Marianne's survivors include four children - Kruger, Bill, Marc Litle and Midge Ross, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation: Saturday 5-8pm Sparkman-Hillcrest, NW Hwy. Memorial Service Sunday, 2 pm in chapel at St. Michael's and All Angels church, 8011 Douglas.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to rescue efforts at North Texas Irish Wolfhound Club.
