Marina Idalia Paniagua

Marina Idalia Somoza Paniagua, age 68, entered into rest on March 15, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on November 6, 1951 in San Salvador, El Salvador to Rosa Evelia Contreras and Felipe Somoza. Marina was raised in San Salvador and also Dallas, Texas and graduated from the Instituto Latino Americano in 1971.

She married Bernardo Paniagua in 1981 and the couple had one child, although Marina has two daughters with a previous spouse. Marina stayed at home to care for her children who were the lights of her life.

In her spare time Marina enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren. She loved dancing with her husband and her family. Maria loved to cook for the whole family and she made sure that the family was together as much as possible.

Her family and friends will always remember her as a caring person who was extremely lovable. She was always willing to give advice, positive vibes, and always had her arms open to anyone.

Marina is survived by her loving husband Bernardo Paniagua; her children Claudia Manciu, Maritza Siu, and Felipe Paniagua; five granddaughters and one grandson; two great-grandsons; three sisters and one brother; and many loving friends.
