Marion Douglas “Doug” Simpson was born on September 26, 1935 in Dallas, Texas. He went home to his Lord on September 1, 2018. Doug was in the Army Reserves from 1956 to 1962. On March 9, 1956, he married his soulmate, Maudie DeBord.

He was a Master Plumber since 1962. Due to his trade, he traveled all over the State of Texas and New Jersey. He had the pleasure to work with his son, Marty, and teach him his trade. Doug was easy going, very giving and never met a stranger.
