Marjie Louise Cagle

Marjie was preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Mary Richardson, sisters Elizabeth Hooper and Vivian Cadenhead, brother Kenneth Richardson, son Marshall (Mickey) Cagle Sr and grandson Marshall Cagle Jr.

She is survived by her sister Linda Venable of Seagoville, Tx; brother and sister-in-law Frank and Monika Richardson of Gilmore, Tx; nieces, nephews and friends.

Marjie was in the Kilgore High School class of 1957. She was an avid reader, even walking long distances to get to the library and reading by flashlight after going to bed. Her passion for reading followed her throughout her life. She enjoyed traveling and visited many places in the United States.

She started her career at Western Electric in 1973 and retired from what became Lucent Technologies on December 31, 2000. The company name changed through the years, but her work ethic remained the same.

Marjie had a fondness for animals. She was always taking care of dogs and cats throughout her life. She also enjoyed caring for her plants. She could name just about any plant that she saw.

But her true love was her son and grandson. She cared dearly for them and took great efforts in making sure that they knew they were loved.
