On Saturday, November 26th, 2022, Marjorie Fuller Canon passed away at the age of ninety in Dallas, TX. Marjorie was born on August 24th, 1932, in San Angelo, TX, to Sam and Marguerite Fuller. Marjorie attended San Angelo High School and was a member of the Sigma Delta Zeta High School Sorority. She graduated in 1949 and attended TCU.
Marjorie married Robert Everett "Bob" Canon on June 4th, 1953, and moved to Odessa, TX. She and Bob eventually moved to Ft. Worth, where Marjorie lived until 1985 when she moved to Dallas.
Marjorie was known for her wonderful sense of humor and was always the life of every party. She enjoyed her bridge club friends and in her younger years loved to entertain. She was a second Mom to her children’s friends and always had her door open and food on the stove for all of them.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her father, Sam; her mother, Marguerite; also a brother, Don Fuller. She is survived by her sister, Sammye Jo Miller; her sister-in-law, Judy Canon; her three children, Robert Otis Canon, II (Ann), Russell Fuller Canon and Sallie Canon Latham (Bob); her grandchildren, William Armstrong, Canon Armstrong, Robert Otis Canon, III (Lara), Katherine Canon Davis (Hunter), Madeline Broussard, and Max F. Canon; her great-granddaughter, Margot Claire Canon; nieces, Julie Ann Miller and Kit Willock (Carl); her nephew, Scott Canon (MaryElizabeth); and four great-nieces and one great-nephew.
A celebration of life will be held in early January 2023. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude.
