Marjorie Louise Carpenter

Marjorie Louise (Lenhart) Carpenter -- born November 13, 1933, in Dallas, TX, and passed away August 17, 2011, in Mesquite, TX, at the age of 77. "Marge" was one of 12 children born to Corbin and Lillian Lenhart. Before retiring, for several years Marge enjoyed working as a nanny for a wonderful family, Russell and Dori Budd and their two daughters. Marge enjoyed life, her grandkids and great-grandkids who were the joy of her life. Her love of life, laughter and caring of others will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Marge was preceded in death by Billy Carpenter, the father of her children, and her son, James Patrick Carpenter; brothers, Bill, Otis and Paul Lenhart; sisters, Wanda Hammond, Gloria Shultz and Diane Isham. Marge is survived by son, Billy John Carpenter, his wife, Mary Beth; daughter Kristine and son Brian; her daughter, Holli Swann, son Terry and wife Teri; children, Timothy, Tabatha and Thomas; and son Troy, his wife Justina, and daughter Sarah; brothers, Danny, David, Marvin, Leroy and Marlin Lenhart; other loving family and a host of friends.

Visitation: 1-3 p.m. Sunday. Services: 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2011, at Grove Hill Funeral Chapel. Interment: Grove Hill Memorial Park.
