Marjorie Foreman Brumlow, was born Marjorie LaVerne Miller on June 11, 1921 in Lawson, Texas, an unincorporated area now part of Mesquite, Texas. She passed away July 2, 2020 in Waxahachie, Texas.
Marjorie married Joseph Foreman in 1939. They were married 52 years, until Joe’s death in 1991. They lived in Dallas, Texas their whole marriage. They had two children, Joseph Jr. (deceased in 1994) and Linda Pollard, and 5 grandchildren: Theresa, Karen, and Chris Foreman, and Michael and Rebecca Pollard. Their great grandchildren are John and Joshua Wavada, Lauren F. Hodan, Jordan (Joe) Foreman, and Gabriel and Eliana Decker. Two great great grandchildren, Darla Wavada and Jackie Hodan. Marjorie was a 50- year plus member of Cliff Temple Baptist Church in Dallas. Her work experience of 23 years include work as a laundress, office work, and selling real estate for Sherri Snell in DeSoto and Duncanville. Her second marriage from 1993 to 2000 was to W.T Brumlow of Donie, Texas. After his passing, Marjorie returned to the Dallas area. She passed away at the Legend Oaks Healthcare and Rehab in Waxahachie, Texas on July 2, 2020 at age 99 years.
