Marjorie Truitt, age 95, passed away on May 19, 2025 in Dallas, Texas. Marjorie was born in Brenham, Texas to Arthur and Geneva Brau. She graduated from Brenham High School and would go on to marry Edd Truitt on December 20, 1957. The couple was married for 31 years.
Marjorie was a secretary for AT&T for 26 years. She loved traveling and gardening, and was an excellent seamstress. She also loved to dance and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, having season tickets for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edd Truitt; grandson, Bryan Jones; brothers, Arthur Brau and Henry Brau; and parents, Geneva and Arthur Brau.
She is survived by her son, David Truitt; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and David Jones; granddaughters, Jennifer and Stephanie Jones; sister and brother-in-law, Flo and Dennis Masar; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
