Mark R. Mitchell, age 31, passed away quietly on November 18, 2011, at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. He is survived by his parents, Lloyd and Sharon Mitchell, sister Stacy Mitchell, fiance Shannon Sides, and great-aunt Maxie (Mackie) Williams. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Helen Dellitt, and Lloyd and Josie Mitchell.
Mark was born November 20, 1979, at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. He attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School and Hillcrest High School, where he had many good friends who cared about him. Mark was a kind, giving, and caring person. At school he was always known as the funny guy in the room. He always had something to say, and he was witty and smart. He loved to tell stories about going to Alex Sawyer’s family farm with all their friends and riding dirt bikes and motorcycles. Mark also loved driving around the lake, forever looking for that one special spot that always seemed to appear and be beautiful. He loved taking his sister to the best snow-cone stand in town -- and the hunt for it.
He will be forever missed by his family and friends. We all love you Mark, and we will never forget you.
