Marsha Ginsberg Rodsky

Born in Paris, TX to loving parents, Sam and Norma Ginsberg, she was blessed to have two devoted older brothers, Major and Buman Ginsberg.

Marsha spent her childhood riding horses and helping her parents. Later, she was educated at what was then called Ferry Hall and is now Lake Forest Academy in Chicago, Ill. She finished her degree at East Texas State University and moved with her family to El Paso, Tx. She then began her career as a teacher then a driving school owner.

She is the mother of a son and daughter, Norman and Marcy, and was married for 20 years to their father, with whom she co-parented successfully. Her children love and respect her and are simply grateful that she was our Mom. She was a master level crochet and knitting artist. She created the perfect row and needlepointed the perfect stitch, on both sides of the canvas! She also enjoyed stain glass art, kiln work and sewing. She loved to give away her art to the people she loved. She loved giving little gifts to people, especially kiddos. She loved all of her dogs throughout her lifetime! She is survived by many family members who will miss her. Her laugh was loud and contagious. She loved teaching! She loved all of her students. She really enjoyed her life and her whole family is grateful that she was ours.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Hillcrest Memorial Park- Beit Olam Section, 7405 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75225.
