Martha Barton Cole, 83, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012 of natural causes. Martha was born October 23, 1929 in Sherman, Texas and she was preceded in death by parents, Ted and Frances Barton, and sons Theodore Justin Mitchell and Christopher Barton Mitchell. Martha graduated from Enid High School in 1945 and Phillips University in 1949. She was the author of a marvelous book about life and family, I Never Learned to Tango. Martha was an avid reader, bridge player and a member of Bent Tree Country Club. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Frank W Cole. She is also survived by daughter, Kelly Ann Cole; step-son, Frank Warren Cole and three grandchildren, Heather Murphy Anderson, Christopher Scott Cole and Holly Cole Anderson.
