Martha Jo Cushshon

Martha Jo (Ingram) Woodson - Cushshon, age 69, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 11, 2019, after a courageous battle with Leukemia. She was born on February 9, 1950 in Pontotoc, Mississippi; the daughter of William Ingram and Willie Mae (Belle) Ingram. They moved to South Beloit, Illinois while she was still a young child. Martha was formerly employed in retail and the medical business field at Shopko and Beloit Clinic, in Beloit Wisconsin, for many years.

Her interests included cooking., "retail therapy" , traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; close personal friend, Annette "Jeannie" McAlister; and her loving sister Elizabeth Ann Slack, who followed her to her Heavenly Home on October 11, 2019 within a few hours of Martha.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories; her husband Wilbert; two daughters, Shirlie Ingram of Mansfield, Texas, Stephanie (Bradley) Vance of Mansfield; two granddaughters, Nakiah and A'Naya Vance, and great grandson Gentry Terez Reed all of Mansfield, Texas; three brothers, George Ingram of Reedsburg, WI, James Ingram of Indianapolis, IN, Robert Ingram of Houston, Texas; and brother-in-law, Perry Slack of Pontotoc, MS; three sisters, Lottie Huggans of St Louis, MO, Eva Ingram of Indianapolis, IN, and Janet Farr of Pontotoc, MS; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and personal friends, Tom and Peggy Cronk of Machesney Park, Illinois.
