Martha was a graduate of Missouri University, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, which helped her on her way to a varied and rewarding career. She went on to serve as an officer in the United States Air Force, and finished her career as the Administrative Assistant to the President of Texas Industries. One of her favorite hobbies was genealogy, which allowed her special insight to the lineage of her family. She also loved baseball, and was an avid fan of the Texas Rangers.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Virgil Sewell. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Kim Roberts; grandchildren, Quinn, Gage, and Felicity Roberts; sisters, Mary Bridgens, Sara Smith, and Katy Byrd; as well as many extended family members.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Martha’s life will be held Friday, November 4, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. at Lakeside Presbyterian Church, 2701 W. Southlake Blvd, Southlake, TX 76092.
