Martha and I were close cousins as youngsters . She and I frequently went hiking with our dads, Val and Norman. A great memory is of the four of us going to El Paso by train and how exciting it was crawling in our berth on the coach, hearing the wheel click clack us to sleep. We went to Mexico for the day and later found out if we spent half the night in the Pecos train station we could go to Carlsbad Cavern which we did. We maintained a closeness through many years and she always had that sweetness and love for family that came before anything else. She was beloved  by all of us and though we had lost touch the later years, her memory will always remind us of what a joy it was to have been in the same family.

I'm feeling so sad that my darling cousin, Martha, has left us.  When we were kids we spend many hours laughing & having such fun.  I spent quite a few nights in her home.  Sometimes our "giggling parties" would go on all night.    Martha was a very loving person &  I know her family misses her.
