This is kind of a long shot.. It's been quite a few years and not likely anyone will ever see this. If nothing else, I smile thinking Marty is somehow reading this. I worked for Marty at Home Entertainment Inc, at the Galleria in Dallas. I got a chance to really know Marty, and very much regret not leaving on better terms. I should have handled a lot of differently, and in one instance left him a huge mess to clean up. Marty was a phenomenal salesman and an excellent manager. He gave me the best kind of advice when I was just getting started, the kind that worked. Real, practical actual things I could say and use that got results. He was a great guy, Heidi too. She was very nice, always in hip sorta way. I am running out of characters, but I will always remember Marty telling the story of how he and Heidi met. We worked together at the galleria. You were at bang and olufsen and i was with the housekeeping department for the mall. I also had the pleasure of your mother being my anatomy and physiology teacher at the high school for the health professions. She was a wonderful instructors and my favorite teachers. She made anatomy easy and fun. What were the odds of me meeting and being friends with her son? I remember fondly our times together and cherish them dearly. I pray that you and your mother are together and at peace. Rest well


Marty, You were a better friend, manager, mentor than I deserved... No excuses, I gave you a lot of grief at the Galleria- not to mention a few messes to sort out when I left. You were right Marty, I was wrong. I missed my chance with you, but I feel a little better about it when I am paying it forward.
That reminds me, I need to start donating blood again. If anybody reads this, Marty donated blood regularly for many, many years. He was an amazing Violinist, his wedding gift if you were lucky enough to know him. He was a GREAT salesman. A really funny guy. 
I'm sad he won't around for his daughters, but I am glad he is with Heidi. 


 I remember Martin from W.H.Gaston in the Orchestra.  I was always inspired by his love for music & his wonderful sense of humor.  My heart goes out to his family as I know he will be deeply missed by them.  May God be with them during this difficult time. (Donna McKay Odom)

Marty never knew a stranger. He had some of the corniest jokes you ever heard. He will be missed.

Mrs. Brahinsky, Gerry, and Eric, I am so sad to hear that Marty has passed.  I feel as though an underpinning has been ripped from my life.  I would be there with you if I could.  My husband, Larry, plans to come to the funeral with Jennie Choate-Crowther.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
