Martin Davila, 75 passed away on November 10, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on November 10, 1943 in Saltillo Coahuila, Mexico to Jose Antonio Davila and Maria de Jesus Bernal. Mr. Davila was raised in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and attended Cosme Perez in the 1950's. He married Maria Esther Barrera in 1968 and the couple had eight children. He was a machine operator at Brockway Standard for thirty years. In his spare time Martin enjoyed playing baseball and watching his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. He also loved to spend time with his family and friends. His family and friends will always remembers him as a hard worker and someone always wanting to make others laugh and smile through difficult times. He was often the one to provide comic relief in these situations. He is preceded in death by his mom, Maria de Jesus Bernal; his dad, Jose Antonio Davila; and his brother Roberto Davila. He is survived by his wife, Maria Davila; his children, Maria, Beatriz, Sylvia, Martin, Jr., Jesus, Gilberto, and Victor. He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren, Erika, Raul, Jr., Miguel Angel, Ruby, Fidel, Monica, Manuel, J.J., Kimberly, Rachel, Priscilla, Alejandro, Antonio and his great-grandchildren, Ariana, Ayden, Mia, Julian, Amber, Ethan, Joel, Nayeli, Jayden, Mateo, Antonio, Brisa, Antonio, Dyana, and Amberlynn. He would agree that creating such a loving family was one of his greatest accomplishments.
