Martin Guadalupe Gomez

Con profundo respeto, recordamos la vida de Martin Guadalupe Gomez, quien nació el 6 de febrero de 2001 y falleció el 2 de julio de 2026, a la edad de 25 años. Nacido en Dallas, TX, Martin fue hijo de Sylvia y Jesus Gomez. Cursó sus estudios en Molina High School, de donde se graduó en 2019, y posteriormente obtuvo un grado de asociado en Dallas College, Mountain View Campus. En cada etapa, supo avanzar con dedicación y con esa calidez natural que se reflejaba tanto en su trato como en su disposición constante hacia los demás.

Martin encontraba alegría en los pequeños grandes momentos: le encantaba jugar videojuegos y ver anime; su videojuego favorito era Super Smash Bros. Amaba a los animales y tenía una tortuga llamada Chip, a la que cuidaba con especial cariño. También disfrutaba la lectura y el dibujo, espacios donde su imaginación y sensibilidad podían expresarse con libertad y calma.

Será recordado por su gran sentido del humor y sus respuestas ingeniosas; tenía la capacidad de encontrar una sonrisa incluso en circunstancias difíciles. A la vez, se distinguía por su respeto hacia todos y por una generosidad silenciosa: aun cuando él mismo necesitaba apoyo, seguía dispuesto a ayudar a otros. Fue un gran hijo, hermano y amigo, y su ausencia se siente profundamente.

Le sobreviven sus padres, Jesus y Sylvia Gomez; su hermano Jose Gomez y su cuñada Ashley; sus abuelos maternos Ines Hernandez y Adolfo Vasquez; y sus abuelos paternos Irene Rangel y Ricardo Gomez; además de muchas tías, tíos, primos y amigos cercanos.

With deep respect, we remember the life of Martin Guadalupe Gomez, who was born on February 6, 2001, and passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 25. Martin, a resident of Dallas, Texas, leaves an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of knowing him—marked by genuine kindness and a way of being in the world that made others feel seen, valued, and supported.

Born in Dallas, TX, Martin was the son of Sylvia and Jesus Gomez. He attended Molina High School, where he graduated in 2019, and later earned an associate degree from Dallas College, Mountain View Campus. At every stage, he moved forward with dedication and with that natural warmth that showed both in how he treated others and in his constant willingness to be there for them.

Martin found joy in the small, meaningful moments: he loved playing video games and watching anime; his favorite video game was Super Smash Bros. He loved animals and had a turtle named Chip, whom he cared for with special affection. He also enjoyed reading and drawing—spaces where his imagination and sensitivity could express themselves with freedom and calm.

He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his witty replies; he had the ability to find a smile even in difficult circumstances. At the same time, he stood out for his respect toward everyone and for a quiet generosity: even when he himself needed support, he remained willing to help others. He was a wonderful son, brother, and friend, and his absence is deeply felt.

He is survived by his parents, Jesus and Sylvia Gomez; his brother Jose Gomez and his sister-in-law Ashley; his maternal grandparents Ines Hernandez and Adolfo Vasquez; and his paternal grandparents Irene Rangel and Ricardo Gomez; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to everyone for their support and for the words of comfort offered during this very difficult time.

The visitation will be held at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247, US, on July 8, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
