

Marvin was born, April 12, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to Sam and Anna Hirsh. After high school Marvin attended the University of Illinois and University of Illinois College of Dentistry and later married his loving wife Brenda of 43 years.
Marvin was an Associate Professor at Baylor College of Dentistry as well as having a private practice in Garland, Texas and Amarillo, Texas. Marvin served his country in the United States Air Force Dental Corps. Marvin’s dental career spanned 55 years. He was a life member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and the Dallas County Dental Society.
Marvin was the State President of B’nai B’rith from 1964 – 1965 and the District vice President from 1965 – 1966. A life member of the Poetry Society of Texas. Marvin had a true love of music, poetry and theatre. He was an enthusiastic traveler and embraced the ideologies and histories of varying cultures of the world.
Preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Anna Hirsh and sister Marsha Lisitza.
Survived by his loving wife Brenda Baker Hirsh of Frisco, Texas, son: Michael Ben Hirsh and wife Elisabeth of Frisco, Texas, daughters: Shondra Jepperson and husband Tom of Sedona, Arizona, Jewels Carlson and husband Brian of Sedona, Arizona, grandchildren: Brendan William Hirsh and Alexander Michael Hirsh both of Frisco, Texas as well as extended family: Mark Lisitza of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, Jeffrey Lisitza of Arlington Heights, Illinois and Jordan Lisitza of Deerfield, Illinois.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday February 9, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at Sparkman Hillcrest Northwest Highway Chapel.
