Marvin Edward Myers passed away on July 6 at the age of 79. He was born on May 31, 1935 in New York to Lillian and Bennett Myers. Marvin fought Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma for 18 years. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Thelma, his son Andrew, his daughter Lisa Groesbeck and her husband, Rob, grand-daughter Stacie, sister-in-law Anita Morgan, niece Melissa Hereford and family, and special cousins Woody and Karen Levinson. Marvin was a graduate of the SMU School of Engineering and was a member of Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by all.
